UPDATED WITH WINNERS | Win one of three pairs of day passes to Cape Town’s Electronics & Gaming Expo

Main Image_Win.jpg

So, all this chat about the Electronics & Gaming Expo (EGE) is one thing, but how about we give someone – in fact three someone’s - an opportunity to take themselves and a friend to the expo for the day at absolutely no charge to themselves? Up for grabs are three (3) pairs of day passes, which means three lucky winners will be able to enjoy a day at EGE with a friend on the house.

With these, you and a friend can catch the gaming, the cosplay, the people, and everything else that everyone else has had to pay for, for absolutely nought. And then you can stand a chance to win some more goodies at the event again.

Updated with winners

Due to the Mortal Kombat Cup Western Cape qualifiers we hosted in the MCave over the weekend our office is still being sorted out, so we can't show you the draw like we always do via a YouTube clip.

Please note that if a winner doesn't reply to our confirmation e-mail by 12 noon tomorrow we will have to draw another winner.

Remember, you win two tickets each for one day at the Cape Town gaming and tech expo. So grab that special someone, remember to bring your ID's with, and get your day passes at the entrance. Your tickets will be in an envelope with your name written on the front.

We decided to extend the competition to Wednesday, 27 May. So grab a few friends and drag them here. Let's support Cape Town's first gaming and tech expo as much as possible. See you Wednesday, the competition will still close at 12 noon.

How To Enter

By entering, you agree to the terms and conditions. Please ensure that you read the Terms and Conditions. Please remember that you have to be 18 years or older, from South Africa and have a valid Disqus account.

You will need to answer the question below in the comments section to qualify for the random draw. Three winners will be drawn and each will bag a pair of day passes to EGE. Please note that to enter, you must be from South Africa and have a valid Disqus account.

  • Why should Cape Town host its own gaming and tech expo?

The competition is now open, and we will announce the winner via the comment section and article on Friday, 22 May at 12 noon.

Notified winners will be required to provide us with their name and ID number which they will then need to be produce when collecting the tickets at the door (on any of the days) of the expo.

The Electronics & Gaming Expo (EGE) takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 29 to 31 May 2015. Keep up to date with what is planned for EGE by giving their Facebook page a like or their Twitter account a follow. If you are not the lucky winner here, then you can buy your tickets for the expo on Computicket
