Registrations for First MGMS CS:GO Qualifier Open

Last week marked the announcement of the MWEB GameZone Master Series 2015. Today, however, marks an important day in our eSports calendar as we are extremely excited to open the registrations for the first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (PC) qualifier. There is only space for 64 teams per qualifier (first come first serve), so be sure to get your entries in as fast as possible!

Registrations Open

Registrations for the first MGMS Qualifier can be completed by heading over to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament page. Once there, you will be able to view registrations, brackets, rulesets, registered teams, the calendar and frequently asked questions. Registrations require that each team has a minimum of 5 members registered, with two optional reserves. No players are allowed to enter more than one team.

Registrations will close on the 29th of May and matches will commence on the first of June, with the finals of the first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive online qualifier being hosted on 28 June. Teams must be sure to be available for all dates before registering.

The top three teams will bag the following cash prize in this qualifier:

  • 1st Prize – R5,000
  • 2nd Prize – R3,000
  • 3rd Prize – R2,000

Ruleset and Frequently Asked Questions

The ruleset and frequently asked questions can be found here, under the ‘Ruleset’ and ‘FAQs’ tabs respectively. The rules are subject to change to match international standards.
