Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare first multiplayer game mode confirmed

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been turning some heads after their E3 conference, where new weapons, movement and enemies were introduced to the franchise. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to be shared regarding the multiplayer aspects of the game, but that has recently changed as Slegehammer Games revealed an multiplayer scoreboard that indicates a mode which will be making its way to Advanced Warfare.

Sledgehammer Games teases multiplayer game mode

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey tweeted out an image of what appears to be the Advanced Warfare multiplayer scoreboard for “Capture the Flag” (CTF). CTF is a mode that was questionably removed and replaced by 'Blitz' in the latest installment for the franchise, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Commitment to eSports 

The return of Capture the Flag to the franchise brings with it the exciting possibility of seeing the game type reintroduced to the competitive rotation of modes to be played. With it's easy to follow, but fast paced action, you can expect that this mode will be welcomed by past and future pro players. 

The reveal from Michael Condrey forms as  apart of their commitment to eSports. Throughout the year  Sledgehammer games has been inviting some Call of Duty pro-players and personalities out to their studio to consult on multiplayer and eSports. This past weekend was no different as

Closing Thoughts

Sledgehammer are doing something very different from the counterparts at Infinity Ward. They are continuously taking an active interest in attaining feedback from the competitive and public players of the franchise. By doing so, they creating the perception that Advanced Warfare will be the most complete Call of Duty to date, by allowing every sector of their following some way to enjoy themselves in some way shape or form. If your a competitive player, you should be excited by what is to come because Sledgehammer Games have commited themselves to pushing eSports for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
