Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Full Cast Revealed

Last week saw the hype train get started with the reveal of the next Call of Duty title, Advanced Warfare, to be hitting our shelves this November. Along with the reveal came the announcement that Kevin Spacey would play a big role in the up and coming title, as the Oscar award winning actor is set to bring added depth to the role with his digital look-a-like replicating his every move. Today we take a look at some of the other cast members that will be accompanying Kevin Spacey in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The Cast

Released, perhaps by mistake, by IMDb this weekend was the announcement of the full cast set to star in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. It is already confirmed that Kevin Spacey is playing as Jonathan Irons, CEO of the Atlas corporation, and Troy Baker is voicing Private Mitchell, the character you will be playing as. Here's is the full listing of the cast, according to IMDb

The list doesn't give too much away, aside from some blatant nicknames like Hades, Joker and Kingpin. Could these possibly be members of Private Mitchells squad?

In the June issue of GameInformer, they also confirmed that Harry Gregson-Williams is working on Advanced Warfare’s soundtrack. Harry Gregson-Williams is known for his work on the Metal Gear Solid franchises and some big Hollywood movies that include the likes of The Chronicles of Narnia, Antz, Shrek 2 among others.

Audio director of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Don Veca, says;

“I think Advanced Warfare is going to be the best-sounding and certainly the best-mixed game ever.”

The Spacey Factor

Actor Kevin’s Spacey’s role in Sledgehammer Games’ upcoming Call of Duty title, Advanced Warfare, was a long time in the making, according to founders Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey.

“Right from the get-go, he was number one,” Schofield recently told GameInformer. “The guy is one of the best actors of our generation.”:

One of the most important factors in deciding on Spacey was his range. This is due to the fact that the character, Jonathan Irons, needs to be able to be, "likeable from the beginning and throughout the game. Somebody who is smart, can be smart, act smart, and can act like a CEO."

Since agreeing on the role, Kevin Spacey has found himself strapped up in all body suit that simultaniously allows for  facial capture, motion capture, and voice recording. He isn't the only one, however, as you might recognize some of the cast, mentioned above, in the photo below.

Closing Thoughts

It's clear that Advanced Warfare will not be related to any previous Call of Duty campaigns. Sledgehammer Games are looking to build their own unique identity with their latest creation, and are doing so by hiring some of the biggest names in the acting and composing industry. Do you think Advanced Warfare will be the break through Call of Duty title that redefines the series?
