Monday Wake Up Call

10 Thousand Developers Signed to Ouya:

The Ouya developer base is growing rapidly for the $99 android based console. Ten thousand developers have been signed up to create content for the Ouya, this will include video games and other applications.

"The last month I've been so excited to just interact with the Ouya developers, who are really people who signed on to the mission statement of Ouya early on and are the people who are just as excited as we are about the platform," Kellee Santiago co-founder of thatgamecompany and currently with OUYA. "It's been great to hear and that the number continues to grow at such a rapid pace is very validating."

Curiosity Just Got Curiouser

"We don't know quite what will happen. Curiosity may very well rapidly degrade to reveal its innermost secret or maybe the effects of automatically removing cubelets will be neutralized by players keen to keep Curiosity going." - Peter Molyneux

Curiosity was a game that asked you to destroy tiles on a cube till you reached the center and find out what the message behind it was. This was done in an interesting way as only one person in the world will be able to see this message. Peter Molyneux stated that “its life changing” with no other hints.

Now there is a new option, for 99 cents, $6.99 or $10.99 you can add layers. Eurogamer has noted that 14 million tiles were removed and 4.7 has been added since the launch f this option.

The New Voice for Snake

This video shows hints at the new voice for Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5. I'm thinking it’s David Hayter.

TBT: The black Tower

This game is a tribute to final fantasy VII, made by three people and currently on Steam Greenlight.

In the video , its clear to see what would happen if Final Fantasy VII was redone in this generation.
