Highly anticipated Devil May Cry 5 gets a release date and awesome new trailer

Devil May Cry 5

2019 is full of awesome games but one particular one is working on my emotions. I am a huge Devil May Cry fan and the latest instalment in the series is not a reboot like DMC, rather an actual sequel to Devil May Cry 4 starring Dante and his crew. At Gamescom yesterday, Capcom revealed a release date for the anticipated game along with a trailer that when you start watching it you never want it to end.

Capcom revealed that Devil May Cry 5 will release on 8 March 2019 for PS4. Xbox One, and PC. With the news, the company touched on details about the game's new Devil Breakers which are mechanical arms crafted by Nero's ally Nico. These arms grant Nero special powers and depending on which Devil Breaker you have equipped will depend on the powers he wields at the time.

There are eight of them which Capcom only detailed a few. Overture is an electrified arm that shocks enemies and Gerbera is a fire Devil Breaker that generated heat and can shoot it out at enemies in front of Nero. One ability of the Devil Breaker we have seen already is the grappling attack that sees Nero latch onto enemies and flies through the air with them smashing them into the ground.

The new trailer also reveals that Nero will still have his trusty Red Queen sword and Blue Rose handgun. We also get a glimpse of Dante as he makes a brief appearance in the trailer with his new weapon, his motorbike. This vehicle seems to be not only his preferred mode of transportation but it can be taken apart and used as a chainsaw weapon. Crazy right!
