Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PC system requirements for multiplayer beta detailed

BLOPS4.jpg

Over the weekend we had quite a bit of fun in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private beta on PS4 and walked away impressed, despite some glaring issues that Treyarch will be fixing. This weekend, both the Xbox One and PC gamers get to test the game out and the latter group of gamers need to know one more thing before they jump in: the minimum and recommended system requirements.

The PC beta kicks off on 10 August at 19:00 for those who have pre-ordered and the open beta starts one day later on 11 August at 19:00. PC gamers will have access to the same content that was present in the PS4 Private Beta, including four game modes in four playlists and six playable maps, as well as the 10 Specialist classes which in my opinion was the highlight of the beta experience.

No, the battle royale mode won’t be included in this beta. Keep in mind that you will need a Battle.net account to participate in the beta on PC, so if you don’t have one already, it’s time to get one. Check out the minimum and recommended system requirements for the multiplayer beta below.

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k or AMD equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB RAM
  • HDD: 25GB HD space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB / GTX 1050 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850
  • DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64 Bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k or AMD equivalent
  • RAM: 12GB RAM
  • HDD: 25GB HD space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580
  • DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

The requirements look pretty decent if you ask me and hopefully players will have a smooth ride. It will be interesting to see just how well the game runs as frame-drops do make quite a big difference, especially in such a fast-paced game. For those who can't wait to see what the game looks like, check out almost 1 hour of gameplay on the PS4 Pro below.
