Hands-on with Ubisoft's ambitious The Division 2

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey was not the only big Ubisoft game we played at E3 2018. Pippa managed to get her hands on The Division 2 and brought back some gameplay for you all to see. I did not manage to get my hands on the game but I was right behind her watching it in awe. The Division 2 improves on everything that made the first game so great which includes deep co-op gameplay, layered RPG elements and a rich world.

I, personally, was blown away by the beauty of the dilapidated world as the game is set a few months after the first one which means humanity has fallen even further into the darkness that is the black plague. Washington looks like a barren wasteland with giant public areas now home to overgrown grass and unmanaged sewerage plants. The game gives you the feeling that you are exploring a world where mankind no longer cares or has the power to maintain the world due to the effect of the end of society.

Factions have risen up, crime is rampant and you are part of a select few individuals that rise up to save what is left. The gameplay demo below is just a short taste of what is to come but Pippa played as the Sharpshooter class along with two other real players. Check out the gameplay demo below.
