Fortnite Mobile out now for iOS

If you are sitting and waiting patiently for your Fortnite mobile access code to arrive in your email then this is the best news you will hear all day. Fortnite mobile is now free and open for all iOS users if you own a supported Apple device. This means that you don't need to wait for Epic Games to send you access, you can download the game and just jump into the action.

According to Epic Games, Fortnite Mobile will work on iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, and iPhone X. iPad users will have to own an iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017 model, or iPad Pro. If you don't own any of these devices then you are out of luck. In all honesty, the iPhone SE is quite old so Epic has at least included that hardware in the release support.

Fortnite Mobile is exactly what you would expect from the game. It is the Fortnite battle royale that we all love (not me) made for mobile with cross-play support. There is no compromising gameplay at all and if you have played the game before then you will feel right at home.

You can head over to the App Store and download the game now if you own any of the supported devices. If you are hanging on for the Android release then it might be a while still. Epic Games have not announced any plans for a beta or any release window for the platform. It may take a while given the sheer amount of devices running the OS.
