Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Announced

After much speculation regarding this year's Call of Duty, Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. While there is nothing much to look at right now other than a teaser trailer and the logo (which looks pretty cool), at least we can put the rumours to rest now.

Activision has announced that the sequel to the 2015 Black Ops 3 will release worldwide on 12 October 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Fans can tune in on 17 May 2018 for a full reveal event where Activision will show off some gameplay from the upcoming shooter.

Of course, the award-winning studio Treyarch are hard at work developing this year's Black Ops 4 and after the success of the first three, I cannot wait to see what comes out. Right now we have no multiplayer, campaign or zombie details to share with you but we hope it will arrive in May. Of course, you will be able to see more of it at E3 2018 too.

Activision seems to love the Black Ops series as the publisher is still pumping money into Black Ops 3. Just this week the game recieved a new content drop and late last year the awesome Call of Duty Zombie Chronicles released on PS4. Activision has not supported a Call of Duty as much as Black Ops 3 which makes us optimistic about this year's release. Perhaps we could even see a Modern Warfare 2 Remastered released alongside the game like we saw with Infinite Warfare? Who knows. Take a look at the teaser trailer below.
