The March PlayStation Plus lineup is probably the best we have had since the launch of the service back in 2010. It includes the likes of Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank which are just awesome games. You can read more about the entire collection here. However, as time goes on hardware becomes older and Sony stops supporting it. Yesterday Sony announced the official end date for PlayStation Plus support for both PS Vita and PS3. This means that Sony will no longer offer monthly free games on the platforms.

According to the PlayStation Blog, support for both the PS3 and PS Vita will come to an end on 8 March 2019. From that date, only PS4 will be included in the service. Sony states that this won't affect any games you already have on your account and if you have a PS3 or PS Vita you will be able to download them and play them as long as you have an active subscription.

Saves are also staying the same as you will be able to upload saves and download them from the included cloud storage even after the given date. This will only include the free games as come February 2019, it will be the last month Sony will offer games to members. Sony says that "many of our fans are playing on the PS4 platform, with the increasingly vast number of PS4s in homes around the world. We'll continue to prioritise the benefits you receive through your PS Plus membership, such as online multiplayer, PS4 monthly games, online game save storage and exclusive PS Store discounts across content and network services."

Sony does point out that you can always turn off auto-renewal for the service in case you wish to cancel it.
