According to Vgchartz.com, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Xbox One version sold an estimated 582 000 units during its first week at retail. Keep in mind that the game is still only available via the Xbox One Preview Program, doesn't include every country, and the number doesn't include digital sales.

  • Period: 10 - 16 December 2017
  • Regions: US, Europe
  • Estimated retail sales: 581 761

Breaking the number down by region:

  • US: 349 684 units sold
  • UK: 69 654
  • Germany: 19 986
  • France: 11 667

Considering all the exclusions, it's a very impressive number of retail units sold. It is interesting to note some of the other sales stats on Vgchartz for that same week. Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch ranked number one with 860 807 units sold that week (and week 8 since its release), and Call of Duty: World War II came in at number two with 762 835 units sold (its 7th week). PUBG Xbox One then lands at number three.

In case you missed it, a new PUBG Xbox One S bundle will release later this month. Read the full details in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds by the numbers.
