This is what you will need to run Far Cry 5 in 4K 60 FPS on PC

Far Cry 5 PC Specs.jpg

Far Cry 5 is a few months away but the hype is slowly building as we have seen more co-op gameplay and now the PC system specs have finally been announced. Best thing of all is that Ubisoft has also listed the 4K requirements for both 30 and 60 FPS modes. This is one of the first times we have seen a developer list 4K system requirements as normally they just use the typical minimum and recommended listings and we have to kind of guess what we will need to push the game to 4K.

According to the Ubisoft Blog, PC has always been a key element of Far Cry's DNA and Far Cry 5 is the next step in proving that. Like Destiny 2, the game will make use of a video memory meter to show you just how much juice you are pulling from your graphics card and the game will also come with a built-in Benchmark Mode so you can run the test which will analyze your system and calibrate it to the best visual options. It will also change aspect ratio, FOV, FPS locking and resolution scaling accordingly. While the game will do this for you we all know we always jump into the setting and tweak things ourselves to make it better for us. I, for one, turn off motion blur and some other features that I hate in games and that gives me more juice to pump up other settings.

With that being said, take a look at the PC requirements below and best start saving for those GTX 1080s if you are planning on playing Far Cry 5 in 4K 60FPS.
