Yesterday, we shared the happy news that you could grab World in Conflict: Complete Edition for free, and today Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will also be free to download from 11 December through to 18 December.

"In addition to celebrate the festive season, Ubisoft is marking the 10th anniversary of both World in Conflict’s launch and the creation of the Assassin’s Creed’s universe," announces Ubisoft. All you need to download Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is a Ubisoft account and a PC.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag released in October 2013, and was praised by critics and fans alike. You take on the role of Edward Kenway, a notorious pirate, and unlike other instalments in the series, players get to commandeer their own ship and explore the open seas. As Kenway you'll visit locations set in the Caribbean, Cuba, Jamaica, southern Florida, and eastern Mexico.

The story plays off during the Golden Age of Piracy and will see you engage in large-scale sea battles against Spanish warships, or you can just set your sails and go where the wind takes you. There are cities to ransack, treasures to discover and oceans to conquer.
