Star Wars Battlefront enters the EA Access Vault next week

Electronic Arts (EA) have announced on Twitter that Star Wars Battlefront will be joining the EA Access Vault on 13 December. With the latest AAA addition coming next week, the EA Access subscription service (for only R49.50 per month) is even better value for money than ever before; and it was already an amazing deal to begin with. In case you didn’t already know, there will be 39 games in the EA Access Vault when Star Wars Battlefront joins the party.

If you haven’t played Star Wars Battlefront yet, this December is the perfect time to join in on the action. However, it is important to note that just like other new arrivals in the Vault, it will be only the base game that is available. Therefore, you won’t be able to play the Rogue One: Scarif expansion that launched yesterday for Season Pass owners.

The aforementioned expansion features characters and content from the upcoming movie entitled Rogue One, adds new weapons and raises the level cap to 100.  The Rogue One movie is scheduled to release on 16 December; which means Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to this month.

At the time of writing it is unclear if the game will also come to Origin Access for PC users and if so, when. I will update this post as soon as more information on the subject becomes available. Without a doubt, the force is strong with EA Access.

Do you subscribe to EA Access and what do you think about the latest addition to the service? Let us know in the comment section below.
