Fallout 4 - Important PC and PS4 news

Bethesda VP of Marketing, Pete Hines, took to Twitter over the weekend to reply to a few pressing Fallout 4 questions.

The Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the season pass. I suggest you purchase the season pass separately as Bethesda hasn't yet revealed any post-release content details. The PlayStation Store lists Fallout 4's PS4 file size as a mere 7.8MB, but it's probably only a placeholder figure. The PC version requires 30GB hard drive space and the Xbox One version 28.12GB.

PC players who ordered the physical copy Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain found a nasty surprise as the disc only contained only the 8.78MB Steam Installer, and no game. So, naturally, PC gamers are concerned that Bethesda would pull the same stunt. Hines has good and bad news; the physical disc does contain the game, but not the entire game. An activation key is also included with the physical copy of Fallout 4.

I don't know which is worse; including only the Steam installer, or including part of a game. Hines didn't reply when asked how much of the game would still need to be downloaded. You can check out the Twitter exchange here.
