FTTH UPGRADE/ DOWNGRADE:
1st Step:
- Establish the reason for the upgrade/downgrade and match a suitable product to the customer's internet requirements.

Capped packages:
- Data package upgrades take effect immediately.
- Downgrades take effect on the 1st of the new month.
Uncapped packages:
- Uncapped packages are not subject to throttling.

Regrade Cost, TAT & Contract:
- Line speed upgrades or downgrades have a turnaround time of (TAT).
- For Openserve, there is a once-off charge of RXXX.
- The contract will remain month to month (mention the Clawback if applicable)

The Router:
- For customers who purchased our higher-spec router with their upgrade, please share the following:
- We'll provide a router, covered for manufacturing faults, if you have an active FIBRE product with Mweb.
- If it gets stolen or damaged by lightning, we offer up to two replacements.
- Cancelling? Return the router within 20 days or keep it for a fee of RXXX.
- Delivery can take up to 5 days.
- Our delivery partner will contact you.
If the customer is getting their own Higher-spec router:
- Please ensure that your router is an E-WAN router that supports fiber.

Billing:
- If activated after the 26th, the first payment includes a pro-rata amount for the current month plus the full amount for the next month.
- Subsequent payments are collected on the last working day of each month.
- For payment details, see Clause 8 of Mweb’s General Terms and Conditions.
- Your bank statement will show “Mweb Internet” followed by your account number for debit orders.

Closing:
- Next, your Fibre provider ……. will contact you to schedule the installation date and time.
