What is it?

If you only go online once a day for short periods of time, then this is the option for you! Dial-Up is the simplest of all the Internet access products and if you have a telephone line - then all you need is a dial-up modem and an MWEB Dial-Up account and you’re set!

However, if you find you want spend more time online, it may be more cost-effective to choose one of our Broadband access products.

Glossary

What is spam?: Spam or junk mail is unwanted or unsolicited e-mail that arrives in your mailbox. Typical spam includes messages about money-making schemes, offensive Web sites, weight-loss programmes and more. MWEB filters out most spam before it even reaches your mailbox.
What are viruses?: Viruses are malicious software, often spread by e-mail, that can damage the data on your computer or degrade its performance. MWEB scans all incoming e-mail for viruses to help keep you safe. However, it's a good idea to use your own anti-virus software as well to protect your machine from any viruses that you may get from elsewhere.
