You will receive one free co.za domain “for life” for as long as you’re an MWEB Uncapped Website Hosting customer. MWEB will automatically register and renew your domain name each year.

Uncapped* hosting space

With uncapped* hosting space, you don’t have to worry about upgrading your hosting package or paying any additional hosting fees should your website grow in popularity/size.

Please note that you can only host one website per Uncapped Website Hosting bundle and should you need to host another website, you will have to purchase another Uncapped Website Hosting bundle.

It is a shared Webhosting environment which means that multiple customer websites are hosted on the same server or share server resources. To ensure reliable service to all our customers, those customers who adversely affect server or network performance will be requested to either correct these issues or upgrade to a more suitable package.

You can also add additional email addresses so customers can reach you at your new domain. Each package comes with a 100 Mb mailbox, 1 personalised email (e.g. john@mybusiness.co.za) and 5 email aliases (e.g. orders@mybusiness.co.za).

MySQL database

A FREE MySQL database is included with each Uncapped Website Hosting package.

MWEB Uncapped Website Hosting offers both MySQL and Microsoft SQL(at an extra cost) platforms.

MySQL is a popular Open Source database which has been included because it is easy to create and easy to integrate with most website development tools. Should you prefer to use a licensed Microsoft SQL database on our Microsoft hosting option, you will also be able to integrate that with your Uncapped Website Hosting bundle from as little as R59 per month for a 500 Mb database.
