APN (Access Point Name) is a general packet radio service (GPRS) that uses the GSM network to give mobile users access to the Internet or your company’s local area network.

APN connectivity is offered as part of the MWEB Business virtual private network product offering, which means we can give your mobile team access to your company's entire intranet through our MPLS network.

MWEB Business has a fibre link directly into Vodacom’s network, so once an APN has been set up, connectivity takes place through the GSM network, across the fibre link into the MWEB Business MPLS network, where the data is routed accordingly.

• The user-friendly online interface allows you to view itemised billing, daily usage and graphs.
• The data bundle can be shared with all users who have a SIM card configured on the APN, while Internet access can be controlled per card through the MWEB Business Data Centre using a firewall.
• You receive a single bill for all your services.
