MWEB LegalNet Service Terms
1 DEFINITIONS
1.1 Unless the context clearly indicates the contrary, any term defined in the General Terms and Conditions when used herein, shall bear the same meaning as defined in the General Terms and Conditions.
In these LegalNet Service Terms:
1.1.1 “LexisNexis” means LexisNexis (Pty) Ltd, registration number 1991/005175/07 previously known as Butterworths Publishers (Pty) Ltd;
1.1.2 “Content Product” means the LegalNet Content and the LexisNexis subscription Content Product as selected by you on the Application Form;
1.1.3 “Service” means the provisioning of the Content Product together with the mail@law email address to you;
1.1.4 “mail@law email address” means the mail@law email address as selected on the Application Form, or as available.
2 PROVISION OF THE SERVICE
2.1 Unless otherwise selected on the Application Form the agreement will be on a month-to-month basis.
2.2 You will need to have an internet connection that is valid and fully operational to access the Service.
2.3 The mail@law email address belongs to MWEB and upon termination of the mail@law Service you will forfeit use of the mail@law email address.
3 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
3.1 LexisNexis provides the Content Product services and as such MWEB has no control in respect of the provisioning of the Content Product services and LexisNexis may require you to accept additional Terms and Conditions. Ownership in the Content Product, including all Intellectual Property Rights, belongs to LexisNexis or its third party suppliers. You may only use the Content Products as authorised by LexisNexis and in accordance with LexisNexis Terms and Conditions and you may not use the Service in any way that infringes the Intellectual Property Rights, including copyright, of LexisNexis or its third party suppliers.
3.2 You may not permit any third party to benefit from the use or functionality of the Service or remove any copyright or other proprietary notices contained on the Content Product.
