The world according to Sims Logic

I am about to embark on the adventure that is The Sims: Supernatural and thus thought I would present you with a retrospective of my favourite moments resulting from that whimsical flight of fancy known as ‘Sims Logic.’ I know I write about The Sims a lot but the unfortunate fact is that I am completely obsessed with this game and my infatuation is something you will just have to learn to deal with. Here are my some of my favourite paradoxes relating to:

Winning friends and influencing people

Social interaction in the Sims is quite puzzling to me sometimes (although still less puzzling than RL social interaction, so at least that's something). A recent incident involved meeting a guy on a dating site (he instigated the contact) and inviting him over to my house. He arrives with his baby, who he leaves on the ground outside by the mailbox; proceeds to tell me he dislikes me and then eats all my pizza. Although with hindsight, this is kind of reflective of most of my romantic endeavors in the real world, so maybe that's fair enough.

“Oh, nice toilet” might not be the most conventional compliment, but at least she’s friendly.

2. Skill sets

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll shut up now.

Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy of the following scenario?!

3. Everything else
