This used to be seen as “deeply geeky” by those not understanding the subculture, originating from Japan based on manga, anime, comic books, video games and films, the global rise and rapid growth of people Cosplaying since the 90’s has been astounding and has made the phenomenon a significant aspect of popular culture.

Cosplay done Wrong

Cosplay done right!

Having said that, when it is good, it can be REALLY good! One of the most popular Russian cosplayers, Anna Moleva known as “Ormeli” from “Deviantart” has been doing some stunning Cosplay around her favourite titles such as Mass Effect 3, McGee’s Alice and Arkham Asylum for a while now as you can see here…

But it was her work on the character Elizabeth from the upcoming Bioshock Infinite that has propelled her and this art to success. The developers of Bioshock Infinite were so impressed with her dedication and resemblance to the in-game character, that they asked her to help them bring the character to life in their key art, including the games box itself as well as the upcoming television advert and have announced that Anna is now the official face of Elizabeth. How is that for an achievement unlocked? A massive well done to Anna and in turn, a huge big-up to Irrational games for picking this up!

So while these these folks model a costumes based on a characters, this is a reversal of that process:
