Recently we received the narrative Gears of War: Judgement trailer from the crew over at Epic Games. The trailer has released some new juicy information and its time that all that meaty news gets broken down in to digestible chunks, so put down your chainsaw and pick up your pitch fork because now is the time for all that that Gears of War: Judgement news to get grenade tagged to your face!
The campaign is set to take the players to the start of the war between the COGs and the Locust. You no longer will play as Marcus Phoenix as he has been replaced by Baird as the main honcho. It is Baird's responsibility to roundup kilo squad in attempts to repel the lowcust hoard. However, there is one big problem Baird is currently awaiting trial in Howvell bay. So his ‘defiant ass’ will be delayed from proceeding to rip through the Locust hoard. The main opponent will be General Khan whom is out to stop Baird and the rest of Kilo Squad.
Judgement will offer players the opportunity to take an optional challenge during missions. These optional challenges range from using a restriction of weapons to having to challenge more dangerous and therefore more difficult opponents. Completing the challenges will assist in you receiving a 3 star rating at the end of the mission. Why would you want a 3 star rating? Well a three star rating will allow you to unlock new characters, armour unlocks and more secrets that are waiting to be revealed.
Dynamic Defence scenarios
In the campaign you will be introduced to scenarios where you will need to hold off against masses of opponents. It is basically horde mode for the campaign, seems like Epic Games are running out of ideas and too be honest this isn’t an addition that deserves a mention in the trailer to the campaign
Smart Spawn System (S3)
No there are no cell phones in Gears of War: Judgement, but the new spawn system might be just as intriguing. The new S3 system will allow for players to experience their own individual styled gameplay. The spawn system will create opponents that will dynamically change every time you play. This will ensure that there will be high replayability of the campaign due to your experience being ever changing. Now you won’t be able to tell who can attack you.
