It’s not over ‘till the fat lady sings, we still have a few good video game releases scheduled for December, let’s take a look.

Battlefield 3: Aftermath


  • Genre: First-person shooter

  • Price Battlefield Premium: (base game plus all five expansions and early access) PC for R500
  • Price Aftermath Expansion: On PC for R120
  • Release dates Premium users: PlayStation 3 released, Xbox 360 and PC on December 4th
  • Release dates Non-Premium Players: PlayStation 3 on December 11th , Xbox 360 and PC on December 18th.
  • Synopsis: Set amongst the shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran, Battlefield 3: Aftermath depicts a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation. With operational capacity severely compromised the opposing forces must adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives. Additional support comes in the form of heavily modified troop transports and civilian vehicles specially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy.

The Critter Chronicles


  • Genre: Adventure Game

  • Synopsis: This shorter-length prequel to The Book of Unwritten Tales tells the story of a whole tribe of Critters being threatened by a warlock and in desperate need of help.
