Battlefield 4 Tips and Tricks - Top guns and attachments

Do you sometimes feel that no matter how good you control your gun and no matter how good you shoot, the enemy just keeps taking you out quicker than you can take them down? If that is the case, then maybe it's your gun that is underpowered. Playing competitively and with players that are constantly trying out newer guns is a huge advantage as we get to see which guns are overpowered and which are under powered so below is a list of guns that I personally use when playing both competitively and on public servers.

Assault Rifle - ACE 23

Summary: This is in my opinion the best gun in the game and works really really well in all situations and unless you going to take on enemies EXTREMELY close or far range then I recommend this gun as it offers the best all round stats and will drop enemies really quickly.

  • Standard Barrel

Assault Rifle - AEK-971

Summary: Not exactly the same as it was in Battlefield 3 and the favorite for me anymore but this is a really good balanced gun if you looking for more close range situations especially on a map like Operation Lockers. Has quite a bit of recoil so be careful when looking to go for mid-far range targets.

Carbine - ACW-R

Summary: There are 2 guns that I choose from when playing engineer and this is one that is really good for all types of range and has a really low recoil making it so easy to control and it does not lack the damage factor at all.

Carbine - ACE 21 CQB

Summary: This is also a gun I mostly use for engineer class and it offers really good mid range stats. Not the same as the ACE 23 but you will feel that its the same except for the fact that the ACE 23 is a much stronger weapon so this is a really good alternative for it as the engineer isn't able to use it.

Shotgun - SPAS 12

Summary: Extreme close quarters especially on maps like Operation Lockers this is your best friend when running like Rambo around corners but you will easily drop a bunch of enemies when surprising them.

  • Laser Sight
  • Full Choke
  • 12G Buckshot

LMG - MG4

Summary: If you want to block the sun out with bullets raining down on the enemy then this gun will definitely do the job. One of the most powerful LMG weapons and especially good when locking down certain areas such as alleyways, corners etc. I recommended the Ergo grip because its better for running with the gun but if you look to sitting down on a spot then use the bipod so that you have a massive boost in accuracy and stability.

Sniper Rifle - SRR-61

SRR61.jpg

Summary: The gun that does the most damage in Battlefield 4 with 100 damage, 100 accuracy and 100 range making this one of the most lethal weapons to your disposal. Really the best choice if you plan to shoot from a distance and camp in high buildings and towers. Note that even tho its 100 damage you will not always 1 shot a person as it does a  0.93x damage multiplier in the stomach and legs.
