Halo Anniversary Kinect Integration Revealed

I'm sure the Halo fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Halo:Anniversary on November 15, 2011. There was some further good news for those of you that have Kinect - In an article from IGN, 343 Industries have detailed how your Kinect can be used in the game, along with voice commands to reload your weapons, throw grenades and access your items.

The specific features reference in the article were:

Voice Commands:

Using your voice, you will be able to reload weapons, throw grenades and switch between Classic and Remastered graphics.

Analyse Mode:

You will be able to scan various vehicles, characters, enemies and weapons by simply moving your target reticule over the item and saying "scan".

Library Access:

The Library is an index of information that can be stored and accessed for searching and reading. You will be able to access the content vie gesture controls.

The article also makes reference to a "half-confirmation" by Microsoft that the integration will "not affect the core gameplay experience" which is obviously good news if you don't have a Kinect.
