Spike TV announced the 10th annual Video Game Awards (VGA) and this year are going to be particularly tough. 2012 saw video games pierce new frontiers in gaming with regards to storytelling, player interaction, physics, graphics and emotional engagement. Developers stretched the capacity of what could be achieved with the current generation platforms to the max. Now it’s time for gamers to make the hard choices, but first, for those of you who are not familiar with the VGA, an introduction.
