State of Decay 2 PC requirements and ultimate edition revealed

State of Decay 2 is releasing on 22 May 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 and it will be playable via Xbox Play Anywhere which means you can start it on Xbox One and continue on PC. However, you will need to be able to run the game first which should not be that hard given that the PC requirements have been revealed and they are not too bad. Along with the PC requirements, Microsoft has revealed the different editions of the game.

  • Video Memory: 2GB
  • Processor: AMD FX-6300 | Intel i5-2500 @ 2.7GHz
  • Graphics: Geforce GTX 760 | AMD Radeon HD 7870

  • RAM: 16GB
  • Video Memory: 4GB
  • Processor: AMD FX-8350 | Intel i5-4750 @ 3.2GHz
  • Graphics: Geforce GTX 960 | AMD Radeon R9 380

State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition 

The ultimate edition of the game will include early access to the game starting on 18 May 2018 a free copy of State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition which is the first game in the series remastered for Xbox One and lastly the Independence Pack and Daybreak Pack DLCs. These two DLC packs will further touch on the game's story and locations. The Ultimate Edition will set you back R849 for Windows 10 and Xbox One, a little more expensive than the standard edition at R449.
