Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 seemingly leaked

A post on Reddit seemingly confirmed the existence of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3. Reddit user codmycave posted a screenshot of the children's book Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Volume 2 that all but confirms the game.

The screenshot shows the description of the book on Amazon which reads: "Garden Warfare returns to Neighborville! Paul Tobin returns to write the official comic book bridge between video games PvZ: GW2 and PvZ: GW3 with Tim Lattie returning to deliver artwork!" Take a look at the image below.

The previous game, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, released in February 2016, and the one before that in 2014, so it does seem the developer follows a two-year release cycle. Until PopCap Games or Electronic Arts make an official announcement, we have to treat the leak as a rumour. That being said, a few days ago Garden Warfare Creative Director, Justin Wiebe posed this question to his Twitter followers:

"If there was another Garden Warfare made what would be your top feature requests? Purely a hypothetical question for my own curiosity."

If there is any truth to the leak, then we will probably have official confirmation at this year's EA Play (9-11 June) and E3 (12-14 June). Over the past few months EA has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, so I expect fans of the series will start voicing concerns over the in-game microtransactions even before Garden Warfare 3 is officially confirmed.
