Assassin's Creed: Origins - The Curse of the Pharaohs delayed, new gameplay shows giant scorpion fights

While the first DLC for Assassin's Creed: Origins, The Hidden Ones, was great, I have been anticipating the second DLC pack as it looks awesome so far. Giant scorpion fights, epic boss battles against the undead Pharaohs and a gorgeous new land to explore that truly breaks the boundaries of what we have experienced in the past.

Well, we are going to have to wait a little longer as the DLC has been delayed. Originally slated for a 6 March 2018 release, Ubisoft has shifted the DLC up a week to 13 March. According to Ubisoft, it was a necessary delay to make sure they deliver the best possible experience. Aren't they all?

There is good news though, as apart from the epic giant scorpion battles that you can look forward to experiencing if you have the Season Pass or you are buying the DLC, a quest will be added to the game this week called Light Among the Dunes. This quest will be available to all players and will serve as an introductory mission to the upcoming expansion. Hopefully, it will nudge players into buying the DLC when it releases as the latest gameplay video shows off some pretty epic gameplay with giant deadly scorpions. Oh, I mentioned them already - sorry. Take a look at the trailer below.
