Sony launches My PlayStation - Browser version of your PSN profile

If you are away from your PS4 and want to check your PSN profile, trophies, search for friends and even accept friend requests you always need to either use the app or the PS4 console itself. Well not anymore as Sony has launched a fancy new browser version of your PSN profile that is accessible on desktops, tablets and smart devices.

The service is called My PlayStation and there is no extra download required to use it at all and once you are signed into your browser then it will stay that way, unlike that damn PSN Mobile App that keeps asking to sign back in.

It is quite a nifty site if you ask me and you can even send PSN messages to friends while you are at it too. The best part of all, its faster than the PS4 profile section that often takes a while to load when you want to edit your account.

The Trophy viewer is also quite helpful as you can view all your trophies and see what you have unlocked and what you have yet to earn. You can even reveal hidden trophy details too.

While Sony has not officially announced this service outside Japan, I logged into the site and it worked without a problem, almost as if it is live worldwide already. Take a look at it by visiting
