The Far Cry 5 Season Pass will let you travel to Mars and Vietnam, take on Zombies, and replay Far Cry 3 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For once, we have a season pass worth purchasing.

Far Cry 5 Season Pass

  • Hours of Darkness: Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers
  • Dead Living Zombies: Players will face hordes of zombies in multiple b-movie scenarios
  • Lost on Mars: Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with Martian arachnids
  • Far Cry 3 Classic Edition: Revisit Rook Island and encounter one of the franchise’s most notorious villains, Vaas.

The Far Cry 3 Classic Edition releases as a standalone in "summer 2018", and will release four weeks early for Season Pass holders. It will only include the single-player story, and is not a full remake, but an "updated" version. More details to follow at a later stage.

The Season Pass content is also available for those who purchase the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition. When it comes to Far Cry 3 Classic's PC version, Ubisoft only states that it is "available on PC."

Ubisoft also released a new story trailer for Far Cry 5, which focuses on the religious controversy surrounding the game. "What God gives, no man can take away," reads the Steam announcement.

The trailer opens with "I have been chosen by God," and "I help the blind to see, I save souls," these are the words of Far Cry 5's antagonist, Pastor Joseph Seed. He states that "God will never let you take me,"  and leaves us with the promise that he will make a believer out of you, "willingly or not."

And so the holy war of Hope County begins.
