ACGL in partnership with MWEB GameZone will be bringing you more events in 2018 so that you don't have to wait for rAge to get your game on. The first for the year is the upcoming #AfrEsports that will be hosted at Grand West on 24 and 25 February 2018. Major titles for the tournament include Call of Duty: WWII and FIFA 18. There will also be other smaller tournaments that include Injustice 2 and Rocket league.

The event has been created to welcome gamers of all skill levels and even those who are still trying to find their place in the local Esports industry. These smaller tournaments will be aimed at those gamers who just want to give it a go and see how they do against other players and not worry about the pros in the major tournaments.

Keep in mind that the event will also be free to enter as a spectator so anyone can come along and witness the leagues taking place. I have always believed that everyone needs to experience a major Esports event in order to appreciate its glory and this way everyone can.

Registration for the Call of Duty and FIFA leagues will open on 24 January 2018 and teams can then register for the tournaments. As for the cost and other details, take a look below for everything you need to know.
