Extra Credits this week - Propaganda Games

This weeks' Extra Credits dives into the world of Propaganda games, and how designers' takes on subject material can potentially and subtly alter ones outlook on any particular group, concept or idea. Good examples are shown using games such as the Gears of War series, Americas Army, and then comparing them to other games made by people with diametrically opposed views, can lead to an interesting take on ones views of games and what points of view are being put across to the target player or audience.

Well worth a watch, when looking carefully at most of the modern shooters coming out over the last couple of years, there has been a very specific enemy depicted. Taking into account our own recent history and also the history of the United States and the native Americans, it can start making one cringe...
