2018 Kicks off with a bang - especially for console owners as they get to play two fantastic titles. PlayStation VR owners get their first dose of horror gaming with the new title from Supermassive Games, the creators of the PlayStation 4 hit, Until Dawn. Xbox One and PS4 players also get to play one of our most anticipated games of 2018 - Monster Hunter: World.

The Inpatient VR

Release dates: 23/01 NA & 24/01 EU & SA

Platform: PS4 VR exclusive

Genre: Survival horror

Mode: Single-player

Age restriction: TBA

Game info: From the developers of Until Dawn comes Inpatient – set 60 years before the events of Until Dawn. Playing a horror game in VR must be the ultimate scare, and not for the faint of heart. With the Inpatient the player controls a patient who is suffering from Amnesia. You need to reclaim those memories. As with Until Dawn, there will be multiple endings depending on your choices throughout the game.

As the prequel to Until Dawn, it plays off in the Blackwood Sanatorium, where you wake up not knowing why you’re there. “Feel every spine-tingling moment as PS VR puts you in the heart of the horror with a full body model showing your legs, arms and hands on-screen – while innovative voice controls mean your character says what you want.” You need not have played Until Dawn to play Inpatient.
