The Evil Within 2 will release on Friday, 13 October 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It is one of my most anticipated games for the remainder of this year and I will be reviewing it. The original game had some performance issues on all platforms, with consoles having the worst of it.

Therefore, many fans of the original probably want to know what the system requirements for The Evil Within 2 will be. Well, it looks like most PC gamers might not have to upgrade in order to at least play the game, as the system requirements revealed today by Bethesda does not look that scary.

Below, you can check out the minimum and recommended requirements for The Evil Within 2.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 / AMD FX-8320 or better
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 40GB free HDD space
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7970 3GB or better

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or better
  • 16 GB RAM
  • 40GB free HDD space
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB / AMD RX 480 8GB or better

Those system requirements are really not that bad. I would say that it is quite the average gaming PC on recommended, which is great news for most PC gamers. The original game did have some performance issues, but judging from the gameplay videos I have seen so far, Bethesda has probably sorted all that out for the sequel.

Does your PC have what it takes to play The Evil Within 2 when it releases next Friday? Let us know in the comment section below.
