Four main stages, five competitive titles, thousands in cash prizes, various competitions for both casual and competitive players, local gaming celebrities, the chance to go head-to-head against Kaizer Chiefs in a FIFA 17 tournament, watching a Street Fighter V exhibition match between EFC Worldwide welterweight champion Dricus du Plessis and bantamweight champion Demarte Pena, joining thousands of gamers at the biggest local LAN event, the first Pink-IT annual summit, and more, lots more make Rush South Africa's eSports spectacle of the year.

Besides the above events there will also be some PlayStation VR activities, an arcade machine up for grabs at the NAG Arcade / Eurasian Entertainment stand, and daily mystery prizes with Matrix Warehouse with their fastest-lap challenge. South African gamers will rub shoulders with some big local eSports talent, meet celebrities from different Sport disciplines, or just hang out with friends. So join us for the eSports event of the year from 21 and 23 July at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

“Rush is an exciting, compelling showcase of everything that South African esports currently has to offer. We’ve created a unique experience that will appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers, and one that will serve as a visual introduction to anyone who doesn’t know what all this esports fuss is about,” said Lauren Das Neves, marketing manager for Rush, NAG and rAge. “Having been actively involved in the local gaming industry for the past 20 years through NAG and rAge, Rush is a great platform for us to build, empower and connect with new and existing esports communities.”

"If you, your friends and your family want to come and watch all the esports action as it happens, you will need to either purchase a Day Ticket (valid for entry for one day only), which costs R50, or a Weekend Ticket (valid for entry for all three days), which costs R100.
