There are three games I want to highlight - Journey, Bound, and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

It's hard to believe that someone owns a PlayStation 4 but haven't yet played Journey. Perhaps you've recently bought the console, as it should be one of the first games you play. Not only is it a remarkable game in terms of its visual splendour, but it's also a personal story that brings fulfilment and joy and wonder and elation and fear. Journey deserves appreciation and it deserves to be experienced. Read more - Journey PS4 Review - So much beauty to behold.

Our reviewer described Bound as " truly meditative, accessible and beautiful." It's not a game that will be to everyone's liking, as it "holds a strange, alien beauty that glimpses humanity in its starkest form but at a distance." It's a beautiful, yet strange experience and if you feel like exploring something different, then Bound is worth your time. Read more - Bound Review - Truly Wondrous.

If you enjoy a challenge, then give The Vanishing of Ethan Carter a try. I played the game on PC after our review grabbed my attention. The puzzles were extremely distributing at times, very entertaining at other times, but always, immensely rewarding to unravel. Be warned, it is a thriller and there are some disturbing moments in the game. "The game is simply brilliant. Never have I experienced such unease, fear and awe all at the same time. The story is gripping; gameplay is wonderfully simplistic in nature and the graphics, as well as sound, are of the utmost quality."
