Ventus Gaming wins the MGMS 2017 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare grand final

This past weekend the MWEB GameZone Master Series COD Tournament took place and saw 30 teams fight it out for the top spot on the leaderboards. Going live at 17:00 on Sunday, the last three matches were for the finals as Bravado and Ventus Gaming went head to head to determine who would be facing Krypto Gaming in the finals.

The entire last leg of the tournament was something to watch as the teams played various maps and modes in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. These included Hardpoint, and Search and Destroy. In the end, however, Ventus knocked Bravado out of the competition as they won both their last matches of Hardpoint against Bravado. Ventus then went into the finals against Krypto Gaming where they continued to dominate in the game and won the final match 150-183.

The entire competition was rather exhilarating to watch and I could not look away as the matches were pretty close too. Ventus walked away with the first prize of R6000 with Krypto Gaming in second with a R4000 prize. Bravado did not walk away empty handed and took home third place with a total of R2000 cash plus R1000 in Raru vouchers.

Thank you to everyone who helped put this tournament together as it would not have been possible without all the hard work and dedication from the ACGL team and all the entries. Huge thanks to the awesome shoutcasters Nick HoldenZA, VnCO_Tiano, and Die_Dalles. If you want to watch the games then head on over to the ACGL YouTube channel where you can catch all the past streams. The team will also have some cool montage clips showing off some of the best kills soon.
