South African E3 Schedule: When and where to watch all the announcements

E3 South African Times.jpg

E3 2017 is a week away and we all know how exciting this time of year for gamers all over the world. All the announcements, all the late nights, and of course the tears (or is that just me?). With the event taking place in LA, which is 9-hours behind SA time, these darn schedules can be rather confusing if you ask me, that is why we put together a schedule of all the events and when you can watch them in SA, and where. The expo kicks off on Sunday which is so close it is scary. Here are all the media briefings you will be able to stream from your couch.

All times listed below are South African time.

EA Play

  • When: Saturday 10 June - 21:00
  • Stream: EA Play's website
  • Details: Fancy some Star Wars: Battlefront II or perhaps the next expansion in Battlefield 1? EA Play will host all of EA's upcoming games as well as all the content headed to the current roster. Maybe we will see a new Dragon Age this year? Who knows.

Microsoft

  • When: Sunday 11 June - 23:00
  • Stream: Microsoft website
  • Details: The Xbox Scorpio will finally be revealed in full this E3, and we cannot wait to see what Microsoft's plan is for their 4K console. We will hopefully get a price tag, but most of all Microsoft better have some games to play when the console releases, which we hope they announce at the expo.

Bethesda

  • When: Monday 12 June - 06:00
  • Stream: Bethesda YouTube channel
  • Details: Bethesda has already teased us with a rather mysterious Bethesda Land amusement park where they showed off all their current games like DOOM, and The Elder Scrolls: Online Morrowind. The tease here is that there were two rides that are still "under construction". These two new games will be announced at their E3 briefing.

The PC Gaming Show

  • When: Monday 12 June - 19:00
  • Stream: PC Gaming Site
  • Details: The PC Gaming Show will return this year with some great new PC news and announcements. While E3 is mainly based around consoles, the PC Gaming Show will highlight some games coming to both console and PC.

Ubisoft

  • When: Monday 12 June - 22:00
  • Stream: Ubisoft YouTube | Ubisoft Twitch
  • Details: We know that Far Cry 5 is real, but there are some high expectations in regards to the Assassin's Creed game for 2017, as well as the Crew 2. We might also see the new Mario RPG announced at the briefing which is said to be a crossover of Mario and Raving Rabbids.

Sony

  • When: Tuesday 13 June - 03:00
  • Stream: PlayStation Live
  • Details: The Last of Us Part II, God of War, and Days Gone. Those are just a few of the games we cannot wait to see at this year's Sony briefing. We could also see some new games being announced as well as Destiny 2 PlayStation content.

Devolver Digital

  • When: TBC
  • Stream: TBC
  • Details: We know that Devolver will be hosting their first ever E3 briefing this year, but details are a little shady at the moment. We don't know what time or the date the briefing will take place. Watch this space.

Nintendo

  • When: Tuesday 13 - 18:00
  • Stream: Nintendo @ E3
  • Details: Nintendo is not hosting a typical conference like other big names, but the will do a Direct stream from the event which you can watch. We have no idea what they have planned, but we could see Mario Odyssey and a few more unannounced games.

What are you looking forward to the most at E3 2017? Let us know in the comments below.
