ACGL, MWEB GameZone, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek are happy to announce the SA Overwatch Festival. It's open to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, so grab a team and get on the payload, there's fun to be had and prizes to be won! Because this is Overwatch and ACGL is running the tournament, we'll do things a bit differently, so it's easier for players to enter.
Meaning, you don't need a team of six, as the #OWFestZA will be a 1v1 and 3v3 tournament only. Let's recall and try that again; grab your Overwatch bestie, your trusted sidekick, and compete in the 3v3 Elimination section. If you're a lone soldier, then chant " I've got you in my sights," and face another lone ranger in the 1v1 Mystery Duel.
The winner of each section will walk away with R1000 in cash, and bag some cool Overwatch, Kontrolfreek, or SteelSeries swag. But wait, there are more prizes coming through - second and third place winners also get a lil somethin' somethin'. That's per platform folks! Oh wait, there's more because "Every little bit counts" and so we thought it a good idea that every person who enter also stand a chance to win a hamper. You should check out all the fine print on ACGL HERE, below a summary of the most important details.

Overwatch Festival SA - Prizes 1St Place all platforms
The prizes differ slightly, but all three include:
- R1000 Cash
- Overwatch Collector’s Edition* (not the game disc)
- SteelSeries goodies for PC
- Kontrolfreek goodies for console
The first-place prizes might not look jaw-dropping (as described by ACGL), but the overall tournament prizes are something special, so a big shoutout to everyone who made this possible. Keep in mind that we want sponsors to see that the SA Overwatch community wants to compete in tournaments - so the more who enter the better as it could lead to future tournaments with bigger prizes.
Now, it's time to "get ready for combat maneuvers", and sign up. Don't forget to use the Overwatch Festival hashtag #OWFestZA.
