Bravado Gaming is the leading Multi-Gaming Organization (MGO) in South Africa, with their teams already participating in two big international events this year. Although their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) didn’t manage to make it to the playoffs of either the World Electronic Sport Games (WESG) Global Finals or the ELEAGUE Mountain Dew LAN Finals, I mentioned in my coverage time and time again how impressive their performance was and how they came extremely close to making it to the playoffs on day 2 of the WESG.
The team recently returned to South Africa and now, Bravado Gaming has announced two roster changes for their CS: GO squad. Robby 'blackpoisoN' Da Loca (right) and Ashton 'Golz' Muller (left in image above) will be replaced with Johnny ‘JT’ Theodosiou and Rhys ‘Fadey’ Armstrong. Both of the new players come from Carbon eSports and are highly skilled, well known individuals in the CS: GO competitive scene in South Africa.
Fadey will take up Golz’s role as the “entry fragger” while JT will take up the AWP position. The new Bravado squad with the two new players will be a “solid foundation for the 2017 season as we set higher goals and objectives” is:

Bravado bids farewell to Golz
“We bid farewell to long time friend and team-mate, Ashton ‘Golz’ Muller after he decided to step-down from our active CS:GO roster. It is uncertain what Golz will be doing and in which direction he will be moving forward in the near future, but whatever it is, we wish him only the best of luck and much success!
Ashton, playing entry for the squad joined up in mid 2015 after our line-up shuffle coming back from the 2015 Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) global finals in Montreal, Canada. Since then Golz has competed with Bravado Gaming both locally and internationally. We would like to thank Ashton for everything he has done for our organization and team, from the boot-camps, to the positive vibes, to the brave entry fragging. We love you and wish you all the best.”
Bravado bids farewell to blackpoisoN
“Bravado Gaming would like to bid farewell to Robby ‘Blackpoison’ Da Loca as Robby has been approached by an International organization to play at the best possible level in the United States of America as he expresses unique fragging ability. Unfortunately right now we can’t release more information about where Blackpoison will be going and who he will be playing for but we wish him all the very best.
Robby, rejoined the Bravado Gaming squad in early 2016 after returning from Sweden and throughout his duration, he attended multiple International events with our squad, achieving some great results against some of the best teams in the world. We would like to take this opportunity to thank him and bid him a very successful farewell as his road continues overseas.”
At the time of writing there is no indication which international organization blackpoisoN might be joining. He did perform extremely well during both the international events Bravado competed in this month and clearly made a lasting mark on his international opponents and spectators.
Earlier this morning I spoke to blackpoisoN on Skype about his move and he did confirm that he was approached by an international team but he has not joined them yet and did not say which team he might be joining. Whatever happens, I hope to see blackpoisoN perform on the international stage again soon and wish him and Golz all the best of luck in their future endeavors. Further, it will be interesting to see how Bravado’s CS: GO squad performs with their two new members both locally and internationally.
