RDR2.com reports that online retailer, Littlewoods, leaked the release date of Red Dead Redemption 2. Littlewoods, a British online store apparently leaked the release date on their PlayStation 4 product page for the game. The release date of 2 October 2017 has since been removed.
It could've, of course, been only a placeholder, but it might also be right on the money. 2 October falls on a Tuesday, (2010's Red Dead released on a Monday), and it's also in line with Rockstar's confirmed Fall 2017 release date.
In April last year, another leak indicated that Rockstar has been working on the next Red Dead title for four years, so it's possible we'll see an October 2017 release. However, you should take the news with a grain of salt until Rockstar officially confirms the release date.
In the meantime, take a look at the things you might've missed from the Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement trailer, and why the stakes are so much higher in 2017 for gaming.
