Predator MGMS Grand Finals: What you need to know about the event

Predator MGMS finals.jpg

After two qualifiers for two titles, the Predator MGMS will reach its conclusion on the 1st and 2nd of October 2016. Over the two days, the top four teams from the Counter-Strike and Call of Duty qualifiers will battle for their share of R44,000 in cash, and you are invited to spectate the action.

This year, only the Call of Duty will be played out in the LAN environment, while the finals of the CS: GO will be online and streamed live via the internet. If you want to catch the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 action, you can join us at the MWEB offices in Parow, Cape Town, and you can stay to watch the CS: GO live stream at the venue too.

The good news to those attending is that Acer will be there to show off some off the products from the Predator range, and if you are in attendance, you can stand a chance to win some swag. Over the two days, there will be Acer Predator hampers up for grabs, so, being in attendance is worth the free entry alone

If you’re in Cape Town over the weekend of the MGMS finals, and would like to join us in the MWEB auditorium, you will need to be on the list to get passed security. To do this, you simply have to comment below (please use a valid Disqus account so we can make contact with you if needed) with the following:

More on Predator

“We named our line of gaming products after a fierce hunter – the Predator. We design gear for fierce gamers – members of what we call the Predator tribe.

Every member of our tribe has the soul of a fierce hunter, a predator. We bear the mark of our deadly mission. Our ancestors painted their bodies with dirt and blood to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies and rally comrades to battle. We draw inspiration from these marks of power." - Acer Predator Series

The mark of the predator tribe is a symbol of loyalty, power, and ferocity. Use it wisely. Embolden your tribe and demoralize the enemy. Conquer New Worlds!”

Predator G6

If you’re in the market for a new desktop, the Predator G6 is the beast for you. Featuring a 6th generation Intel processor, support for up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti, SoundBlaster audio, instant overclocking and the capacity for both 4K gaming and virtual reality, the G6 looks ready for battle.
