I know, I know; ... you love No Man's Sky, and you just don't get why people are complaining about the game. Maybe you're on the other side of the spectrum, and you wish you didn't fall for the hype. Every time you see the game in your PSN library anger rises like an impending tornado. If you're a PC gamer, then you're thanking father Gaben for the refund policy. There's no middle ground when it comes to No Man's Sky; you either hate it or you love it.

Whatever side you're on, there's one thing you cannot ignore - we bought lies. We all fell for it, and there's no way around that fact. We played the PlayStation 4 and PC versions, and sure, there are moments that hint at incredible beauty and absolute genius. But it's only moments, and it gets lost in the humdrum of - everything else. And then there are the brave attempts from the PC modding community to "fix" the game. And patches, lots of patches rolling out from Hello Games.

If you're enjoying No Man's Sky then good for you, look straight ahead and fly on. However, there's a valuable lesson we, as consumers, can't ignore, and nothing shows it better than the No Man's Sky Honest Game Trailer by Smosh Games.
