Updates | These are Your May 2016 SA Gaming Events

May 2016 gaming events.jpg

It seems we’re rushing headlong to the end of the year at breakneck speed. However, slow things down a little and support May’s gaming (and general geek) events. The first weekend brings the clash of the cities to a degree with both Cape Town and Gauteng hosting pretty large events in FanCon and GeekFest respectively. At MWEB, May sees the conclusion of the Black Ops 3 MGMS qualifier, the start of the CS: GO component of MGMS and the MSI Vortex Launch Event. On top of that, there is the Hearthstone Spring preliminary, a few LAN events and more, so book these days in your diary for an action-packed May.

Talking about GeekFest and the MSI Vortex events - you can win tickets to both:

  • The Pokemon South African National Championship has been added for the weekend of 14 and 15 May. Details below
