Wacky Wednesday: The Loading Screen

by Zaid Kriel (Zaid)  Posted Wednesday, July 10, 2013 2:43:51 PM

Ah, the dreaded loading screen. The bane of the impatient gamer. Long-time console gamers especially find them galling, since the cartridge-based consoles of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras never had them. PC gamers? The master race doesn't mind so much. If you go back to the Commodore 64's cassettes, you could wait up to a 30 minutes or more for a level to load.
