Dead Space 3 Awakened DLC: “Could you be any more crazy?”

Our first dark treat of Dead Space 3 DLC content is upon us. Unlike in the main campaign, “Awakened”, seems to promise players a dose of dementia that will tear at your guts, that is, if there is anything left of you after the aliens had you.

The launch trailer for Awakened paints a world filled with satanic symbolism: demons seeping through your mind into the real world, evidence of rituals scattered around blood filled hallways and an initiation into the brotherhood, or rather, “demonhood” of the Unitologists.

But fear not, Carver is there to slap the shit out of your demented brain, check this out.

Left for dead on Tau Volantis, Isaac Clarke and John Carver face a daunting journey. As madness takes hold, they find they can't trust their eyes or each other. The trek leads to the ship Terra Nova, now home to a sadistic cult of Unitologists. The horror continues as the Dead Space saga enters its darkest chapter. Dead Space 3 Awakened DLC will be available March 12 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
