The first time that I saw the pictures of the Corsair M65 and M95 gaming mice, two things jumped to mind;
- That looks like a mouse for Imperial Stormtroopers, and
- Corsair does gaming peripherals? Wow. Didn't know that.
Corsair M95 - Is this not what Imperial Stormtroopers would be playing SWTOR with?
After I adjusted my gaming ignorance (thank to Francois from Rectron), and started reading the information on the new Corsair gaming peripherals, I was intrigued. First of all, the distinction between the M65 and the M95 is based on your choice of games that you prefer as they are tailored quite specifically to this.
Before we look at each mouse individually, both mice have a couple of characteristics in common:
- Ergonomic aluminum unibody chassis
- Avago Technologies ADNS-9800 LaserStream gaming sensor, offering 8200 DPI for increased speed and precision
- Ruggedized, high-precision button switches for rapid triggering and solid durability
- On-the-fly resolution switching
- Progammable lift detection
- High-mass scroll wheel
- PTFE glide pads
